With Victory's explosive growth (trust us, we're not complaining) we've been adding to our team in all directions. Finding just anyone in a down economy to represent Victory in a territory is not hard, but here at Victory we're not just looking for anyone. We look for the best of the best and when it comes to representing Victory in the largest single market in America we wanted the best of the best of the best. Meet Sean McCain.
Smoldering, fruity flavor emerge brightly from this brown ale, contributed from three directions as juicy British malt, energetic British yeast and fruity robust One Village Smart Blend coffee converge. get ready for characters of bleach raspberry to emerge from this refreshing and satisfying ale.

Well, it finally happened. After months of plotting and planning and collaborating the Victory Brewing Co. and One Village Coffee project, here and after referred to as Victory Village, is finally being released to the public.
This coffee beer is not like your typical coffee beer in that we (Victory + One Village) decided to steer clear of the heavier stout or porter style and really expose the coffe flavor through a British style Brown Ale. The result: A coffee beer like no other. You have to taste it to believe it. It's a beautiful, and uniquely balanced, combination of coffee and beer. Not too much beer to muddle the coffee flavor, not too much coffee to make an 'adult' Starbucks product.
It's been a pleasure to work with the One Village team and are proud to support their unique vision of creating a 'not-just-for-profit' roasting house that supports the communities of their suppliers in developing countries around the globe.
Are you still reading this? Why? Once their won't be anymore for quites some time so don't miss it if you have a chance to try it.

Victory Village will be rolling out to the following locations in the weeks following the launch:
January is always a fun time at our brewery. It’s the time of year when we begin planning to make beers to be enjoyed by craft brewers across the nation and world. The Craft Brewers Conferences attract over 1000 brewmasters and brewers for seminars, discussions and a trade show for the vendors that serve the craft beer industry. As many of you already know, for the last three years, we have collaborated with friend and Brewmaster Eric Toft of Schönrammer Brauerei in Germany, along with the German Hop Growers Association, to create unique beers that showcase the great hops of Germany. Our first effort was Saphir Bock, brewed for the 2007 Craft Brewers Conference in Austin. It was hoppy and the craft brewers in audience were excited to drink a hoppy bock beer.
For the 2008 Craft Beer Conference in San Diego, we upped the offerings to 3 beers. The Tettnanger Pils and Spalt Select Pils were an interesting exploration of hop aromas and flavors. Many preferred the flavor of the Tettnang and the aroma of the Spalt Select. Others concluded the opposite. That is the fun of it. We also brewed a . . .
Christmas of 1985 I gave Ron a homebrewing kit. Eight years later, on New Years Eve, we convinced our wives to let us write a brewery business plan. So I guess the Holidays will always be tied to big adventures and big ambitions for us.
But ambition and adventure also need a quiet place to be contemplated and appreciated. That place is called ‘home.’
We wish for you to enjoy this time with your loved ones and their gifts to you of support, faith and maybe even BEER.
Yesterday we tweeted (yes, it's officially a verb) the question that's on everyone's mind the week before Thanksgiving, "What Victory Beers pair best with Thanksgiving?" You didin't disapoint with your answers. Here are a couple of our favorites:
'Storm King Stoudt is better with Pumpkin Pie than whipped cream!' - TheWhiteLilKim
'Variety pack. I give my family members a choice.' - chriscavallucci
'I'm bringing a case of Lager to my Thanksgiving feast, fingers crossed that everyone doesn't drink beer & leaves it all to me!' - Chroma914
'Yakima Twilight. Does it go with much on the table? No. Does it matter? Not to me!' - whatsbilldoing
While we would never contradict someone's taste we've put together a short guide to what we've found works at our own Thanksgiving tables. Try bringing a couple new beers to Thanksgiving and make it an event to remember (and trust us, if you bring Golden Monkey it will be).
Golden Monkey: This is Victory's turkey beer for sure. Turkey is relatively neutral in it's character and Golden Monkey adds enough spice and sweetness to enhance the flavor but not enough to overwhelm the T-Bird.
Yakima Twilight: Think Candied Yams with carmelized Marshmellow topping. The sweetness of the yams are a beneficial opposition to the boldness and bitterness of Yakima.
Prima Pils: It's an aperitif perfect for watching the football game with. Goes nicely with shrimp cocktail and the accompanying horseradish and tomato sauces. HopDevil: HopDevil always pairs nicely with cheese. Consider a fresh Cheddar in your au gratin potatoes and you'll have people talking. Sooo good.
Lager: If you're going to have only one Victory Beer this Thanksgiving your best bet would be Victory Lager. It's the jack of all trades that's just flexible enough to go with everything, but not assertive enough to clash with anything.
Storm King: If brownies are on the dessert menu you would be doing a disservice to your guests by serving anything other than Storm King. It's rich and sweet characters make it a natural partner for anything chocolate. The jury is still out on wether or not it works with pumpkin pie, but we'd love to hear what you think.
Most craft breweries leave the pilsner style to the big guys who’ve corrupted it. But like U2 stealing “Helter Skelter” back from Charles Manson, Victory has redeemed the old European style for America with their Prima Pils. While Belgian-style beers get all the attention, Victory is making some of the best German-style beer in the country. This is a brewery for the hop-heads, with beers like the HopDevil, Hop Wallop and even the Storm King Stout packed with a an uncharacteristic bite. But they also make a hell of a tripel with their Golden Monkey
Congrats to all the Breweries who have made the top 25. These are exciting times for Craft Brewing and beer in America!
